Assistant Service Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
Assistant Service Managers are responsible for scheduling work in the service department and for selling additional needed service to customers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Prior dealership experience preferred
Ability to maintain a positive attitude
Valid Michigan Drivers license and an insurable driving record
Ability to operate a computer, tablet, and telephone system

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner. Let customers who are waiting in line know that they will be helped soon
Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems
Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications, using maintenance menus
Perform a walk around on each vehicle
Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index rating at least comparable to that of the manufacturer, zone, or branch average
Ensure that all documents are accounted for
Provide estimates for labor and parts.
Follow up with progress of repair and any changes
Compare final invoice with original repair order
Maintain follow-up program on additional items found in need of repair
Inspect all vehicles for body work, notify the customer that work is needed, and provide an estimate for body shop work.

 

Rental Manager

Metro Toyota seeks a friendly, helpful, and caring Rental Manager to join our exceptional team. The Rental Manager oversees all aspects of the rental car division including inventory, scheduling, and developing new business. Warranty Administrator

Metro Toyota, a nationally recognized Toyota dealership, seeks a professional, experienced, task-focused individual to join its team as a full-time Warranty Administrator. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain an eye for accuracy and detail in our busy environment. Two years of previous experience is preferred and a thorough, practical knowledge of warranty administration is required. We offer competitive pay, health insurance, dental, 401(k) and paid time off. A list of basic duties is listed below:

POSITION SUMMARY
The Warranty Administrator prepares, records, and reconciles warranty claims and submits them to the factory and distributors for defective parts. The Warranty Administrator must be able to maintain an eye for accuracy and detail in a busy environment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Warranty Administration and/or dealership service drive experience preferred
Valid Michigan Driver’s license and an insurable driving record
Ability to operate a computer, tablet, and telephone

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and process warranty claims by using Dealer Daily and ADP DMS
Verify criteria required by factory or distributor; attached all required documentation to warranty invoice
Verify technician certification for repairs
Post credits into ADP DMS, record required accounting adjustments in ADP DMS
Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid and/or rejected claims
Maintain positive working relations with factory and extended warranty contacts
Review weekly with Service Manager outstanding warranty claims
Review monthly with Office Manager outstanding warranty claims
Prepare customer service index
Track warranty parts by tagging, report scrapping status to Service Manager weekly

Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor, or to be scrapped
Assist Service Office as needed with answering service phone, assisting customers
