A graduate of Ferris State University and Wayne State University, he was a Funeral Director and Managing Partner of RDMG Funeral Homes in Portage, MI before retiring in 1998. He joined Metro Toyota in 2006 and has been Salesperson of the Year 15 years in a row from 2007-2021. He is a member of Berean Baptist Church. Ken is a former Soccer Coach and Athletic Booster Club Member at Heritage Christian Academy. Ken has been married to Carolyn Lambrix Karakula since 1976 and they have 8 children and 13 grandchildren who all reside in the Kalamazoo area.

Fun Fact: When I was in high school, I would enroll in school in Florida for the winters to race amateur motocross. I went to Paris with Yamaha Motor Corp in a support role for Mike LaRocco.

Fun fact: I have had over 500 stitches and staples in my lifetime. Scars fade but stories live forever.

Tedd is a 20 year resident of the Greater Kalamazoo area. He has been married to his wife Marie for over 25 years and they have 2 boys Justin and James. Tedd’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Cardiology and a minor in Entomology. Prior to Metro Toyota, he worked in both Nuclear Cardiology and PET scanning. His experience in patient care has taught Tedd to be extremely patient and compassionate. He takes great pride in determining what his customers are looking for and working hard to help them achieve their goals. Tedd enjoys sports and has been coaching high school football for 15 years and previously officiating high school athletics for nearly 10 years. His diverse hobbies include cooking, playing guitar, golf and participating in the Northstar chapter of BNI.

What is your dream car? A loaded 4Runner with beige leather interior, lots of chrome and a little bit of a lift.

What are some of your hobbies/interests? Skiing, Wakeboarding, Dogs, Flying Drones, Reading/Writing, and being on the water.

What is a fun fact about you? I’ve broken 31 bones and ironically, 31 is my lucky and favorite number!

What are some of your hobbies/interests? I love to travel with the family, exploring the country. Outdoor activities include fishing, camping. Indoor activities is watching sports like the NFL and Showjumping horses.
