The Toyota Sequoia Has Been Refreshed for the 2023 Model Year
The Toyota Sequoia is soon coming to Kalamazoo as a redesigned SUV. For 2023, Toyota has made several changes to this model, making it an even more intriguing choice for our customers at Metro Toyota.
There has been a major change to the powertrain on the Sequoia. Now, it comes standard with the iForce MAX twin-turbo hybrid powertrain, which is an exciting move that many Three Rivers, MI drivers will appreciate. The system consists of an electric motor and a 3.4-liter V6 engine. Together, they can make 437 horsepower. With 538 pound-feet of torque, the Sequoia feels incredibly strong and capable. Like before, the SUV is available with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The TRD Pro will be appealing to those who’d like to go off-roading around Portage, MI because of its special off-road suspension standard four-wheel drive.
The 2023 Sequoia has also been given some new design elements. The front grille has grown considerably, helping the SUV gain more attention on the roads around Battle Creek, and the interesting design of the lights and the sculpted, muscular frame help boost its style. Inside the cabin, there’s something that will definitely catch your eye. It’s a sliding third row with an adjustable cargo shelf system. This gives you more options in terms of how to arrange the spacious cabin.
Further, the infotainment system has been upgraded with an available 14-inch touchscreen. All five trims come with a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a Panoramic View Monitor system. This camera system provides you with a better perspective as you maneuver around Paw Paw, MI.
We’d also like to highlight that there’s a brand-new trim called the Capstone. This trim is the most sophisticated Sequoia ever made. It features high-end components like chrome accents, 22-inch chrome wheels, power running boards and LED mood lighting.
